Ms. Jarrett has a background in both the public and private sectors. She served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Habitat Company in Chicago, the Commissioner of Planning and Development for the city of Chicago, Deputy Chief of Staff for Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and she practiced law for ten years in the private and public sector. She also served as the director of numerous corporate and not-for-profit boards including leadership roles as Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Stock Exchange, Chairman of the University of Chicago Medical Center Board of Trustees, Vice Chairman of the University of Chicago Board of Trustees, Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Chair of Chicago Transit Board. Ms. Jarrett has also received numerous awards and honorary degrees, including TIME’s “100 Most Influential People” Award.

Jarrett received her B.A. from Stanford University in 1978 and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1981.

Chloe Kim

Tatyana McFadden

20X Paralympic Medalist and Track & Field World Champion

Tatyana McFadden is considered one of the fastest women in the world. She currently has 20 Paralympic medals (including eight gold medals), 24 World Major Marathon wins, including four consecutive Grand Slams (first place in Boston, Chicago, NYC and London marathons in the same year) and has broken five world records in track and field.

Born with spina bifida and paralyzed from the waist down, Tatyana spent the first six years of her life in a Russian orphanage. In 1993, Deborah McFadden, then the Commissioner of Disabilities for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, was on a business trip that included a visit to that orphanage, where she met Tatyana, and subsequently adopted her. She was introduced to sports and fell in love with wheelchair racing. She entered her first Paralympics at age 15 and continues to challenge herself and break barriers. Her drive to be the best has helped advance the rights of people with disabilities, leading to state and federal legislation that ensures students with disabilities have equal access to compete in interscholastic athletics.

Some of her additional achievements and recognitions include: Two-time Emmy winner for best long documentary, Rising Phoenix; Being selected as one of 24 “Power Women of the Year” by Women’s Running Magazine in 2021; Among those named to Forbes "30 Under 30" in 2017; Selected as the Best Female Athlete of the 2016 Paralympic Games by the United States Olympic Paralympic Committee and received the Whang Youn Dai Achievement Award at those Games for outstanding performance, overcoming adversity, and Exemplifying sportsmanship; Recipient of the 2016 ESPY Award for Best Female Athlete of the Year with a Disability.

Tatyana is a University of Illinois alumni, having earned her master's degree in Education and undergraduate degree in Human Development & Family Studies. Most recently, Tatyana worked both sides of the camera, serving as a producer and star of the 2020 critically acclaimed film, “Rising Phoenix,” a Netflix original drama that tells the story of the Paralympic Movement through the lives of nine Paralympic athletes.

Brooke Shields

Mandela’s career has given her an unparalleled perspective from all vantages within tech. At the age of 25, she dropped out of her PhD program at UCLA to start her first company and became one of the first Black women to raise venture capital from Silicon Valley investors.

Prior to joining All Raise, Mandela was the Founder and CEO of Founder Gym, the #1 training program teaching underrepresented founders how to raise venture capital. Mandela leveraged her powerful network to recruit some of the best investors and funded-founders in the world to teach underrepresented entrepreneurs how to raise capital to scale their tech startups.

Before Founder Gym, Mandela was the founding Portfolio Services Director at Kapor Capital, managing a portfolio of over 120 tech startups, including Uber and Twilio. There, she co-launched the Founders Commitment, the first diversity and inclusion pledge upheld by a VC firm, and she co-designed 10 workshops teaching startups how to bake diversity and inclusion into the DNA of their companies. Vanessa Nakate, 25, is a climate justice activist from Uganda and founder of the Africa-based Rise Up Movement. She began striking for the climate in her home town of Kampala in January 2019, after witnessing droughts and flooding devastating communities in Uganda. She now campaigns internationally to highlight the impacts of climate change already playing out in Africa, as well as promoting key climate solutions such as educating girls. In 2020, Vanessa was named a UN Young Leader for the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as being listed one of the BBC's 100 Women of the year and the 100 most influential young Africans.

Gabrielle Giffords

Former Congresswoman & Gun Violence Prevention Advocate

Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords understands what it’s like to face overwhelming barriers. She also understands what it takes to get past them. From her scrappy Arizona childhood, to her bridge-building politics, to her remarkable recovery from traumatic injuries, Gabby personifies courage.

On January 8, 2011, at a “Congress On Your Corner” constituent event in Tucson, Gabby was shot in the head by a gunman who killed six people and injured 12 others. Gabby stepped down from Congress in January 2012 to focus on her recovery. Founder, Fifteen Percent Pledge and Creative Director & Founder, Brother Vellies

Aurora James, Creative Director and Founder of luxury accessories brand Brother Vellies and founder of the non-profit advocacy organization, Fifteen Percent Pledge, has long worked to make the global economy a more equitable place for historically excluded groups.

Founded in 2013, Brother Vellies began with the mission of keeping traditional African design practices and techniques alive. The brand supports artisan communities around the world, creating timeless pieces that celebrate different cultural histories and honor the individuals that make them through fair labor practices and job creation.

In June 2020, in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, Aurora founded the Fifteen Percent Pledge, a non-profit advocacy organization that urges companies and individuals to make a long-term commitment to increased diversity and representation across their business practices and buying habits. Since its founding, the Pledge has signed 29 pledge takers including Nordstrom, Vogue, InStyle, and Sephora U.S., and helped over 625 companies launch their products with pledge takers. In 2021, Aurora became the first Black female designer to receive The Founder’s Award in honor of Eleanor Lambert, and was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.

She has a proven track record of leading companies through periods of significant growth with a focus on customer-centric retail and building purpose-driven brands.
 
With over 25-years of experience in the retail industry, during her tenure at the J.Crew Group she has held executive leadership roles across J.Crew, Factory and, most recently serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Madewell, where she drove the brand’s growth from start-up to the highly successful leader in denim retail it is today. Dubbed ‘NYC Empathy Broker’, Chang founded Heart of Dinner alongside life partner Moonlynn Tsai at the onset of Covid-19, a non-profit that supports small businesses while countering the isolation and food insecurity within NYC’s underserved and homebound Asian elderly communities with weekly deliveries of warm messages and culturally thoughtful meals; and doing so in intentional ways that bridge gaps and build community across all cultures and backgrounds. As of Fall 2022, Heart of Dinner has provided over 120,000 free meals.

Dylan Mulvaney (she/they) is a trans actress, comic, and content creator. In March 2022, Dylan Mulvaney began her video series, “Days of Girlhood” on TikTok. First as a diary series for herself documenting her transition journey to see how far she’d come; the series quickly went viral. Her accounts across TikTok & Instagram have since amassed nearly 1 billion views and over 10 million followers. In 2022, she was awarded the TikTok “Trailblazer” Award for the series and several months later she was invited to the White House to speak with President Biden on Trans Rights. Under her direction, the revenue team achieved three consecutive years of growth from 2018 to 2020 in overall revenue, the number of premium custom-content campaigns executed on behalf of top tier clients, and a proliferation of ForbesLive and custom events, which have generated significant new and recurring revenue streams.

She has introduced several innovative products and initiatives, including BrandVoice products, ForbesLive virtual events, Forbes’ Representation & Inclusion Practice, ForbesOne, Forbes Demand Engine, Forbes Premium Profiles and the CxO Growth Survey.

Before being appointed Chief Operating Officer, Sibley served as Forbes’ CRO, and as SVP of U.S. and Europe and Chief Sales Officer prior to taking the CRO helm. Sibley has also held senior leadership positions at The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Condé Nast. Sibley is also co-chair of IAB’s CRO Council, serves on the board of directors for The Ad Council, The Business Marketing Association and is a Member of the Board of Advisors at Chief, Her Campus Media and Prota Fiori, a sustainable luxury footwear startup. When she’s not helping the world’s largest business media brand break records, she’s an avid runner and supportive mother of two. Sibley is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and resides in New York City.
