Ray Dalio is the founder, CIO Mentor and member of the board of Bridgewater Associates, a global macroeconomic investment management firm and the largest hedge fund in the world. Ray started Bridgewater out of his two-bedroom apartment in New York in 1975 and under his guidance, has grown the firm into the 5th most important company in the U.S., according to Fortune Magazine, and has led it to make more money for clients than any other hedge fund since its inception, according to LCH Investments.

Ray has been a global macro investor for more than 50 years, which has required him to gain a deep understanding of global economics and investing. Under his guidance, Bridgewater has introduced several industry-changing approaches to investing, including risk parity, the separation of alpha and beta, and currency overlay strategies. For his innovative work as well as being a valued advisor to many global policy makers, Ray has also been called the “Steve Jobs of Investing” by CIO Magazine and Wired Magazine, and has been named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.

Ray is also a long-running New York Times best-selling author as a result of his popular books Principles: Life and Work (released in 2017) and Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order (released in 2021). Principles outlines Ray’s principles for work and life, the foundation of Bridgewater’s distinctive culture that strives to create “meaningful work and meaningful relationships through radical truth and radical transparency;” Ray also attributes them as the key to his and Bridgewater’s success. As a result of the book’s popularity, Ray distilled it into the engaging and easy-to-read illustrated novel for readers of all ages – Principles for Success. Changing World Order, comprises Ray’s multi-year, in-depth study of the last 500 years of history to determine what causes empires to succeed and fail as world powers. In 2018, he and Bridgewater co-published Principles for Navigating Big Debt Crises, the first public dissemination of their research on these economic events, which enabled them to anticipate the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.

Ray graduated with a B.S. in Finance from C.W. Post College in 1971 and holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School circa 1973. He has been married to his wife, Barbara, for more than 40 years and is an active philanthropist with a special interest in ocean exploration, microfinance and equal educational opportunities for underprivileged youth. For his work in this space, he has been named one of the 50 largest philanthropists in the U.S., according to Forbes Magazine.

Ms. Murtagh developed HMC’s first sustainable investing policy and worked closely with Harvard University in its decision to become the first US endowment signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment.

Anthony Scaramucci is the founder and managing partner of SkyBridge, a global alternative investment firm, and founder and chairman of SALT, a global thought leadership forum and venture studio.
Prior to founding SkyBridge in 2005, Scaramucci co-founded investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, which was sold to Neuberger Berman in 2001. Earlier, he worked in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs & Co.

Ida created Citi Private Bank’s North America Asian Clients Group, and she started her career at Citi by launching and heading the Fashion, Retail and Entertainment Group. Before joining Citi, Ida was at Vivienne Tam, a women’s wear design house, where she was Global Head of Sales, Marketing, Public Relations and Business Development. Prior to this, Ida spent seven years in investment banking with Merrill Lynch’s mergers and acquisitions and technology, media and telecommunications investment banking groups in New York and Hong Kong. She started her career in mergers and acquisitions at BT Wolfensohn (now Deutsche Bank).

Ida has received many industry accolades including Barron’s 10 Most Influential Women in Wealth Management, Barron’s 100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance, Crain’s Notable Women on Wall Street and American Banker’s 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance. Additionally, Ida is a Young Global Leader (YGL) of the World Economic Forum, a member of The Committee of 100 (C100) and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Ida serves on the UCLA Health Advisory Board as well as the Asia Society Board of Trustees.

Ida holds a BA with honors from Wellesley College and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and conversant in Russian.

Kate Murtagh

Kate Murtagh is managing director for sustainable investing and the Chief Compliance Officer of Harvard Management Company, Inc. (HMC). Ms. Murtagh joined HMC in 2006.

As managing director, Ms. Murtagh is responsible for designing and implementing HMC’s sustainable investing program across all asset classes. Ms. Murtagh developed HMC’s first sustainable investing policy and worked closely with Harvard University in its decision to become the first US endowment signatory to the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment.

As Chief Compliance Officer, Ms. Murtagh is responsible for regulatory and legal matters relating to HMC’s investment activities. In this capacity, Ms. Murtagh has extensive expertise in the structuring and implementation of various investment strategies including co-mingled funds, separately managed accounts, joint ventures, private REITS, and direct asset ownership.

Prior to HMC, Ms. Murtagh was a partner in the Business Law department of Goodwin Procter LLP, a national law firm based in Boston, MA. Ms. Murtagh was named a 2017 “Leader in the Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly for her innovative work in sustainable investing and a 2018 “Top Mind” by Compliance Week.

Ms. Murtagh earned a BS in management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a JD from Cornell Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Cornell Law Review.

Ajit Nedungadi

Ajit Nedungadi is the Chief Executive Officer of TA Associates. He is also Chair of TA’s Core Investment and Portfolio Committees, and a member of TA’s Executive and Management Committees. He co-heads firm management, alongside Chairman Brian Conway, oversees TA’s European efforts out of its London office and is actively engaged in TA’s investments in India.

In total, Ajit has sponsored 28 investments over 22 years at TA, 25 of which are fully or partially exited, totaling more than $3.5 billion of invested capital. He has also been on the deal investment committee for more than 150 investments over the last five years. These investments are across Europe, the U.S. and India, and across the technology, financial services, consumer and healthcare sectors.

Prior to joining TA in 1999 in the Boston office, Ajit worked at Trilogy Software, Investcorp International and Credit Suisse First Boston. He received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Yale University and an MBA degree as a Baker Scholar from the Harvard Business School. At Yale University, Ajit serves on the Board of Advisors of the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.

Marc Rowan

Marc Rowan is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Apollo. He currently serves on the board of directors of Apollo Global Management, Inc., Athene Holding Ltd. and Athora Holding Ltd. Currently, Marc is Chair of the Board of Advisors of the Wharton School and a member of the University of Pennsylvania’s Board of Trustees. In addition, he is involved in public policy and is an initial funder and contributor to the development of the Penn Wharton Budget Model, a nonpartisan research initiative which provides analysis of public policy’s fiscal impact.

An active philanthropist, Marc is a founding member and Chair of Youth Renewal Fund and Vice Chair of Darca, Israel’s top educational network operating 40 schools with over 22,000 students throughout Israel’s most diverse and under-served communities. He also serves on the board of OpenDor Media, a digital media company centered on engaging Jewish and Israel content. David Siegel

David Siegel is a computer scientist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He co-founded Two Sigma, a financial sciences company, with the belief that innovative technology and data science could help discover value in the world’s data. Today, Two Sigma drives transformations across the financial services industry in investment management, venture capital, private equity, real estate, and insurance.

David’s philanthropic efforts underscore his conviction that education, science, and technology are the keys to a better world. In keeping with this vision, he founded Siegel Family Endowment in 2011 to support organizations and leaders that will understand and shape the impact of technology on society.

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the MIT Corporation and is Chairman of the Cornell Tech Council. David also serves as Vice-Chair of the Scratch Foundation, an organization he co-founded in 2014 to support Scratch, a programming language and online community for children. In addition, he is a board member of NYC FIRST, FIRST National, Khan Academy, and Stanford’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society.

John Skjervem

John D. Skjervem is Chief Investment Officer for Utah Retirement Systems (URS) which manages a financial and real asset portfolio totaling $54 billion as of December 31, 2021 and comprises both defined benefit and defined contribution retirement programs. Prior to URS, John was Chief Executive Officer of Alan Biller and Associates, responsible its $131 billion institutional investment advisory practice. John also previously served as Chief Investment Officer for Oregon State Treasury where his team managed a $111 billion, globally-diversified investment program. Before his tenure in Oregon, John held a variety of portfolio management and leadership positions at Northern Trust including Chief Investment Officer for that firm’s $180 billion wealth management division. John is a member of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation’s Investment Advisory Group, an advisor to the Retirement Board of the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho and a member of the IEEE Foundation’s investment committee. He also serves on the Pacific Pension Institute’s Board of Directors. John holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, received his BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

Allyson Tucker

Allyson Tucker is Chief Executive Officer of the Washington State Investment Board, one of the United States’ leading institutional investors. The WSIB manages more than $180 billion of state retirement plans, insurance funds, and other public trust assets. The WSIB is a global institutional investor and a leader in private asset investing, with private equity, real estate, and tangible assets comprising approximately 48 percent of its retirement portfolio.

Allyson joined the WSIB in 2009 and has more than 20 years of investment management experience. Before her appointment as CEO in January 2022, she served as Chief Investment Officer and previously as Senior Investment Officer heading the organization’s Risk Management and Asset Allocation team. Prior to working at the WSIB, she worked as an Investment Specialist for BMGI, the investment manager for the William H. Gates III Family Office and for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust. She also worked as a research analyst for a full-service Pacific Northwest brokerage firm.

A native of Olympia, Washington, she graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington with a BA in Accounting. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and is a member of the Seattle Society of Chartered Financial Analysts and the CAIA Seattle chapter. Eric Wilmes

Mr. Wilmes is a Managing Director and the President, Americas, at GIC. He is also the Head of Private Equity, Americas, and of GIC’s San Francisco office. Before joining the firm, Mr. Wilmes was a Director at Friedman Fleischer & Lowe and at Centre Partners. Mr. Wilmes began his career in the Merchant Banking Division of Morgan Stanley & Co.

Mr. Wilmes has served as a Director of several businesses, including UKG, Ultimate Software, Ancestry, Multiplan, Kronos, HUB International, PetSmart / Chewy, and American Seafoods.

Mr. Wilmes holds a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from Williams College.
