WE NYC is partnering with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, Flom LLP to host a remote WE Legal Clinic!

WE Legal helps women entrepreneurs access free legal consultations, so they can make the right decisions to start, operate, and grow their businesses. At this WE Legal Clinic clients will receive one-on-one remote consultations via telephone or video conferencing, on the following topics:

• Business Structure / Entity Formation - Advise on choosing a business structure that meets clients’ needs and expectations. Guidance on how to properly complete paperwork and corporate governance documents (i.e., operating agreements)

• Contract Review - Advise on terms related to a contract. Consult on the drafting of basic contracts, and review loan documents.

• Intellectual Property - Advise on whether your products, services, business names, and other intellectual property can potentially be protected through copyright, and/or trademark.

After registration, you will receive a follow-up email from our team with more details and confirm your appointment. All registrants must be registered and confirmed in advance of their consultation. Please plan to be available during the week of 6/13/2022 - 6/17/2022.
